When interviewed a number of people said that Rimu Team suited the colours red and white the best There are some people from Tauranga Intermediate that call Rimu Team “Cheeky little red devils”, this comment describes Rimu Team well.
Rimu Trees
Rimu Tree
Rimu trees are native to New Zealand and have long roots that go deep into the group. This can be compared to the people in Rimu Team because they have a long history with Tauranga Intermediate. Rimu team are rooted in the school and will not be going anywhere in the future. Rimu trees stand tall and proud in the forrest just how Rimu house stand tall and proud in the school.

Conclusion
After some through research I believe that Rimu Team is by far the best team at Tauranga Intermediate. I am sure that this year they are likely to win the Spirit Trophy.
